Personal web space Help & information

- Below is the default.htm file that is automatically placed in each users personal web space when their account is created. It can be edited, deleted or replaced as you see fit.

- What defines a home page is the name of the page itself. Any page that has the name "default.htm" will load when your personal web space is accessed. Nothing tricky, that's all there is to it.

- The default, default.htm page shown below provides instructions on how to access your personal web space.

- You may see your actual homepage by typing this link in your browser. http://members.dfwonline.net/YourUserName/ Substitute the "YourUserName" with your DfwOnline.net Username. Also, the "/" at the end is optional. Your default.htm page will load correctly with or without it.

Here are some brief instructions on how to access your personal web space.

You can log into your site using FTP (file transfer protocol) with one of URL’s listed below.

ftp://members.dfwonline.net ß When accessed with a browser (note not all browsers support FTP you may need to install an FTP client application)

members.dfwonline.net ß When accessed with an FTP client application.

Here are links to a couple of FTP client applications. For information or support on these applications contact the software company as DfwOnline’s support staff does not provide support for any 3^rd party applications.

When prompted for a username and password. This will be that same as your logon username and password.
